EYEBROWS IMMEDIATLEY AFTER TREATMENT

Your eyebrows will appear up to 50% darker in colour and slightly red and swollen from treatment, this can make the shape appear slightly off balance. Once swelling/redness has settled this will make the brows appear more evenly placed. The brows will appear slightly harsh looking on the skin until the complete healing process has completed.

EYEBROWS DURING THE FIRST 14 DAYS

Your eyebrows will appear even darker the morning after treatment. This is when the eyebrows will start to heal and dry. This is nothing to be concerned about. During the next 7 days you will find the brows becoming dry and itchy, please reframe from picking, itching and touching the area to avoid infection. During this week the brows MUST be kept completely dry away from any water, products, make up. We supply aftercare balm that MUST be applied every morning and night from the day of treatment using a clean cotton bud. If you have oily skin, you may have been advised to keep the brows completely dry and NOT to use the balm. Emma Wright® will verbally advise this during your treatment.

EYEBROWS ONCE HEALED

Once all the scabbing has come away from the skin by itself you will notice the pigment may look very faint or in some areas completely invisible, THIS IS NORMAL!!!!! The skin produces a layer of protective skin, this is the bodies natural defence to stop the skin scarring in any way PLEASE DO NOT PICK. Once the eyebrows have completely healed which can take approx. 4 weeks you will notice the colour will start to darken again. You may still have areas that have taken better than others, and this is when your brows will be due their complimentary touch up procedure where the whole brow will be re tattooed to ensure all patches/gaps are refilled.

The procedure can cause a stinging sensation, which can be eased by applying a local anaesthetic cream. Some people also experience a lightening or darkening of the affected skin, though in most cases this returns to normal after six months. Redness in the area is common after the procedure, but subsides quickly. The professionals performing the treatment will advise using a high-factor sun block while the skin is still sensitive, along with other tips on achieving the best results.

EYELINER IMMEDIATLEY AFTER TREATMENT

Your eyeliner will appear up to 50% darker in colour and slightly red and swollen from treatment possibly even bruised in some areas, this can make the eyes swollen, red and very sensitive to light. Once swelling/redness has settled this will make the eyeliner appear thinner. The eyeliner will appear slightly harsh looking on the skin until the complete healing process has completed.
